Part-Time Axepert - Salem

Oregon Axe (Oregonaxethrowing.com) has positions available for an energetic and outgoing individual!

We are growing and this is a great opportunity for someone that likes people and is eager to grow! If you have experience in any of the following, you might be the perfect fit:

  • Theater experience (acting)

  • Comedy

  • Camp counselor

Pay: $14.70/hour plus tips and bonuses

WEEKENDS are a MUST, with some weekdays shifts (day/night) as well.

Responsibilities for Axepert:

  • Meet and greet clients with a smile, check them in and help sign the waivers;

  • Present rules and tips in front of a small crowd and demonstrate how to throw an axe (no experience needed. We will train you to be an expert thrower)

  • Coach customers to help them learn how to stick an axe

  • Guide customers through a series of axe throwing games, keeping score, and keep the fun going to ensure that each group has an "Axe-cellent" time.

  • Take reservations, process payments, and take customer photos.

  • The candidate should be able to stay calm under pressure, ability to entertain clients and pay attention to details. Safety is our number one concern.

  • When there are no games light dusting and cleaning or replacing targets. Knowledge of hand tools is a must.

Would be great if you already have your OLCC permit. 21 and older
